OK. I have patiently read this entire thread to make sure I wasn't covering the same ground.

I've been looking for someone to point out how we got here now. Not when GW signed immigration/refugee laws, not since the current administration started completely ignoring border states with Mexican immigration issues, but right now - the three aforementioned more southern countries shipping children across Mexico to our border at super increased and flooding rates recently as in the last few weeks perhaps a couple or three months.

No one has pointed out the advertising on radio and newspaper in those countries that the US is laxing immigration. Who paid for it? Why would they do that? Why broadcast a US immigration/refugee loophole for children now? The theory I've heard is the Mexican Cartels are behind it to flood and over load resources at the border so they can (and are) running drugs free and open on US borders.

Where's THAT discussion? That looks like agression to me.

I pointed out this line earlier that was taken from the article upthread.
they had moved now because they heard that there was a new U.S. policy that made it easier for unaccompanied children or single women with at least one child to remain in the country.
Some one for some reason had to start the ball rolling with this campaign and put this information out there that caused the sudden influx.

I was hoping to find the source that this info was actually on radio and in the newspapers as JJ stated. I'm not doubting that it was, I'm just looking for the proof of that rather than a word of mouth mention. Seems like that would be a good thing to verify prior to using it in a debate.

Sorry, I was working until 11 last night. Can't remember where I heard it...I'll see if I can find it.

Central American newspapers encouraging illegal immigration | New York Post

Central America Newspapers Promote Obama Policies on Illegals

The administration jumping up and down saying it ain't so:

Don't Blame Central American Newspapers For Influx Of Undocumented Children

Don't recall where I heard it asserted the Mexican cartels are encouraging these "news stories". Might have been on television some place.

    Excellent, Thanks!!!!!
I've been suspicious of the cartels being behind this also

A failed state with violence applies to just about every nation on earth.

    "So does this,

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”

And send the bill to me. I will pay my part of it.

IMO, the key to that verse is "the golden door"

Hmm. Maybe we need a statue for the southern border. I propose the following poem:

"Give me your criminals, your worthless,
Your drug mules, carrying bales of weed,
    Central America's refuse without documents,
Send over these so called "refugees"
I lift up the hole we cut in the border fence."

I don't care if they want to come, or even if they get in. There is a legal route. Use it.

Sorry, but are you equating these kids with those criminals?

I call that situational awareness..lol...Same with the cheat sheet. If you're gonna do something, make sure you've got all the best info, or just go home. That's chutzpah, or brass balls if ya like. I didn't grow up here, so I got a l'il larceny in my soul...

Nowhere in my post did I say that.

    Is this better?
