    Had a great time.

Absolutely loved every second of it.

Thanks to everyone for their generosity and participation.

BTW, I finished off the pork BBQ. It is all gone.

    Yes... it was delicious. :D

I'm tired (and this is getting dangerously close to turning into a quality post) so I will yammer on some more tomorrow. :blahblah:

Epic? I dare say it was. :yesway:

Could you guys all check your stuff? I'm missing a couple items. It would be very obvious if you accidentally got them, they are all in one container. Please PM me if you have them.

I just checked my stuff and nothing is in there. I hope you get it straightened out!

Another INGO NFA Day is in the books. First, a heartfelt thank you to Dave and Jenn for their incredible hospitality. Thanks also to our vendors for bringing their expensive toys out for a bunch of relative strangers to use and abuse, and to the organizers for putting on a safe, educational and FUN event.

    Now, on with the show.

First... if INGO didn't suck so bad, maybe we could actually get a few people to come to our events:

And then, I wish someone would've brought some guns.

But if they did, then we'd need things to shoot at...

Too many good pics to put 'em all up, and I am terrible putting screen names with faces, so I'll let y'all browse through those and figure stuff out. If you have any questions about anything you see, holler.

The Church of the Brass Rainbow got some new members today:

First of all... Today was AWESOME! A big THANK YOU to everyone who had a hand in making today happen.

I had a BIG change of heart today towards SBRs. Before today, I always thought that an SBR rifle was not worth the extra cost of the tax stamp. Once I was able to handle a few of them today, I learned that they are well worth the cost. Very light, and easy to handle. The factory built Sig was especially sweet.

Shooting a suppressed GSG-5 with subsonic ammo was awesome. That was such a quiet gun. It can be best summed up by a comment I heard that I believe Shooter521 said...

    "Put that airsoft rifle away!"

I was glad that I got to shoot an M&P .45 today! I had never shot one before... I like 'em.

The full auto rifles totally rocked! :rockwoot:

    Where's the bacon?
Well, I don't have an AAR yet; I'll be there for Alumni day.

That said, I know I'm going to be tired when I get home and I don't want to come home and crash and miss saying thank you to the Rice family and all of the folks who organized this. I know I'm going to have a fantastic time and enjoy everything about the day.

Thanks to one and all. (This message, or one like it, will be posted again later, at the proper time if possible. If not, well... Let's us just call this hedging my bets. ;)

    Blessings,
    Bill

    I need some of this...

not intending to hi-jack but do want to say this looks like a blast and I'd love to get involved on the next. I'd bring guns & ammo and help with setup, cleanup, mowing, you name it...until then..

3rd Annual INGO NFA Day outline ...

    Highlights:

*.) Unparalleled hospitality on the part of LoveMyWoods family. Unmatched beauty and suitability of homestead and range. Seriously, ATVs ... WITH MATCHING WAGON TO SCHLEP OUR GEAR UP AND DOWN THE 15+% GRADE HILL?! Its that kind of attention to detail that makes me confident that when the Zombie outbreak occurs, I'm affiliated with the right group of folks.

*.) Shooter521 and others posting pics. and vids. a few scant hours after the event. There's telling folks that the 'do has been epic ... and then there's SHOWING 'em!

*.) The sweet-sweet-earth-rumbling-flight-of-the-valkyries-MEGA-WOOF of the long guns ... unsupressed ... especially the short barreled rifles, (SBRs). As an example ... there's a reason why Alphahornet's fully auto AR SBR chambered for .223 got so much love: once you wield God's megaphone-of-reckoning you develop a deep and abiding urge to POSSESS God's megaphone-of-reckoning; even if only for a series of oh-so-too-brief moments. "Yes my dear SBR ... I will keep you in the ways you so richly deserve at the peril of credit rating and all 'liquidable assets forsaking all others and cleaving only to thee for as long as we both shall live. Amen."

*.) The gun-porn smogasboard set forth courtesy of Curraheeguns, Alphahornet, ChuckP, IndyMonkey, VUPDBlue and anyone else I may have forgotten to mention. How incredibly gracious to let your friends play with your very expensive toys.

*.) Special mention to the two Daves for sharing the joy that was the Winchester .300 ammo so several of us could take a turn on Curraheeguns' magnificent sniper rifle.

*.) The chow, the chow ... the ever-lovin chow!

*.) The 'thousand-and-one little things that everyone does that many of us, despite our best intentions, may miss but yet preserve the fabric of the experience so as to keep the tapestry-of-a-joyful-memory whole. That's right hosses ... I can wax poetic and 'whacks bowling pins. ;)

    My thanks to all!
