The pics of the kids being instructed and having the knowledge passed down to them are priceless. Well done to all those involved.

Anyone else look at pics of themselves, and think, "what a doofus"?
    Or is it just me?

I didn't until I saw TheUziButton's photo of me using my cane to show a young shooter how to get a good cheek weld. Several of the young ones didn't like putting their face right down on the stock.

    Jedi, for your report...

    6 packs of hot dogs. = $10.74
    200 rounds of .223. = $78.90
    48 cans of pop. = $15.00
    48 bottles of water = $8.00
    4 bags of ice = $12.00
    1 bottle of insect repellant = $4.00

Chance to advance the shooting sports to a new generation. = Priceless.

Hard to put a price on the use of tables, coolers, shade awnings, guns, fuel, and time and effort... but well worth it.

Looked good to me for the young person to see and learn the right way for the cheek weld. The art of instruction is different with everyone, to obtain the result is the goal.

Talked to Fenway about maybe having volunteer shirts for next year with the sponsors on the back. Be nce to see this become a little more professional as well as get the sponsors some business.

I like that idea. It would look real good for us all to be dresses up alike. Not to take anything away from the grass roots effort.
