Nothing personal just some friendly tractor ribbing to brighten up everyone's day! I would never knock anything free. Thats a win win all the time.
Just buy it and tell her you got it on SALE, that is the response I am expected to accept when I notice new items at my house.I know. I want to buy a new one but I don't think thats going to fly with the boss.
Seems like there might be some answers over at Tractor Forums might be worth a shot tractor forum.com
Track the plug wire back to its origination point. If you engine has an externally mounted coil that would be it. If the wire goes in the engine it is a different set up. Might be a Mag style ignition and in or under the flywheel.
Take a pic of the engine and shoot it to me when you get a chance.
Did INGO garage help you get your mower running
Just wondering what your outcome was?
Is there a low oil-pressure shut-down on the engine? If so it could be related to that... I'm just trying to think of things that would be related to throttle position or engine rpm and oil-pressure definitely could vary with rpm.
I can't win. I got home from training and got the mower running. Drove it from the back of the garage to the driveway and now I can't get it out of gear. And the mower won't start when it is in gear, even if the clutch is pushed in. I'm going to call a JD dealer tomorrow and see if transmission rebuild kits are available and how much they cost. The odds of buying a new mower just went up.
These things have a fuse my friend.
So does the dynamite I'm going to use to blow it up.
