Trust INGO. A while back I tried to find recipes with no success, but these actually look good. Yes, I'm the redneck that would go to the zoo where a recipe is posted along with the name of the critter.

Brussels sprouts, not even once. They taste bad because of the same chemical as is in broccoli. If you have the "taster" (TAS2R38) gene, preparation won't make it go away. If you have both genes ("supertaster") you may as well try to choke down a plate of festering rotten sewage.

Took this yesterday, what could go wrong?

Made me think of bad mistakes after consuming too much alcohol?
Outdoors type guy at work was always bringing in critters to eat. Snapping turtle was often on the menu. As a side effect of semi-alcohol poisoning I offered my services to help clean his latest batch of turtles. (7 or 8 of the surliest I've had the misfortune to meet) The stuff of nightmares. Take off the head, they walk off. Boil them, the leaches come off. Start the disassembly, heart still beating.

His wife was a fantastic cook and crazy as a poop house rat. Yeah, that did have a couple good things come out of it though. Turtle kind of slid of the menu.
