A revolver will get you killed in a real gunfight.
A revolver will get you killed on the way to the gunfight. You'll not even survive long enough to get properly killed.
A revolver will get you killed in a real gunfight.
There are many gun shop commando types that say it is viable. I have designed a match where that theory can be better tested than any existing shooting sport out there. Where are all of those wheelgunners that carry?A revolver will get you killed in a real gunfight.

I think legends like Frank Hamer, Bill Jordan, and many others proved the viability of the revolver before most of us took our first breath.
Hamer claimed to be involved in 52 shootings...although of course he was wise and used a rifle and 1911 where he could.
So, Bill Jordan with a wheel gun vs ??? with today's flavor of a polymer fantastic...who do you like?
Very likely.Maybe they are hanging out with the guys who carry .22's.
Sometimes the "snubbie in the pocket"
Heard this mantra previously. This carry gun match is designed to let that be seen rather than just stated. The round counts are low to take the slow reloading out of the equation. So far no takers except on the keyboard.Sometimes the "snubbie in the pocket" is all that can be concealed in a place where concealment is very important to the person carrying? Maybe not the best choice for shooting competitions, but at least a choice to try and be armed when not all work places are accepting of the idea.
The right revolver in trained hands is, was, and will always be viable for self protection.

This is a family forum. The battlefield pickup could be interesting with a snubby in the box.
Might be what we have to resort to for revolver testing. The battlefield pickup could be interesting with a snubby in the box.
