To sum up- a mistake was made which they were willing to correct. Not good enough. THEY were arrogant (yeah, they were....they alone​) so never buy from RK again.

I didn't get a chance to tell my brother about this thread before he bought a Rock Island 1911 in 10mm at Rural King.
He only paid $379 + the $9.95 shipping and tax.
Said it came out to right at $416 out the door.

He walked in, did the background check and out the door he went, no troubles at all.

Guess he wasn't doing it right...

I read through all of these posts. I didn't see what specific gun the OP had trouble with. I did see how much popcorn is consumed by INGOers. It is a vast amount. If it isn't Indiana grown, I'm filing a complaint.

I've never bought a gun there, but I once got ammo, a 6 volt tractor battery, a tractor rain cap, a come-a-long and an Allis Chalmers shirt- for my wife- all in one trip.
