I think this is an insightful point about anonymity. The younger generations don't value it. It is all about likes/follows/retweets. Many are avoiding anonymity.

Plus, the stigma attached to being arrested is heavily diluted at this point in history.

I dunno. Younger generations seem more narcissistic, or at least have better tools for engaging in it, but when it comes time for real world accountability, seem...risk averse.

Getting arrested for participating in these protests has no stigma, nor apparently any real consequence in the real world. In fact it could be viewed as virtue signalling.

I have wondered if the prosecutor up there will charge all or any of rioters arrested?

Were any looters arrested or did they all get away?

I would disagree. Even prior to Covid, Antifa were notorious for wearing masks in their protests/riots. And just look at the group "Anonymous". I mean... it's right there in the name. ;)

I have been working downtown and going to the gym every other day. There is an increase in bums occupying south street, and there are plenty of places with boarded up windows.

It's a ghost town and will likely remain so until all of this blows over, just like all the previous riots.

Especially when participation in the riots means that you are on the “socially-correct” side of history, which is “evidenced” by lack charges being pressed and bail accounts being set up.

IMPD arrested a guy who (allegedly) pointed an AR at police and bystanders. They got this pic:

This is a pic of the gun they (allegedly) recovered:

Is it just me, or does it only appear to have a front sight?

If TWD taught me anything it's that you don't need sights.

    Am I reading that correctly?

Line 1: "I am not suggesting violence, it solves nothing."

Line 3: "Violence is the only recourse to effect Change in Indianapolis and also Minnesota..."

Non sequitur. Is Line1 some obligatory header to slip past any gatekeeping, and Line3 is what the poster really believes or is there some other interpretation?
