When people call in bomb threats to places, in instances where a bomb doesn't exist, or send inert white powder to people with the assumption that the recipient will think it's anthrax, is it safe to assume that the people committing these acts are sympathetic to the person, or institution, those packages are being sent to? I'm just trying to find out if when we should be skeptical, unless it simply defaults to when the victim is a liberal.

I don't have the answer; however, if one would look at the trend in recent years - I'd go with the liberal socialist democrat doing it.

Again, just considering the shootings, muggings, riots, harassment, violent protesting and such within the last few years. It's pretty much been one sided.

    Again, I do not know.....

So, the same FBI who investigated Hillary, was involved in the Russian scandal and who had employees targeting Trump will be the same FBI investigating the pipe bombs?

What major crime, in recent years, has the FBI actually resolved?

    IKR?

The federal courts have absolutely no criminal cases pending.

Based on the evidence...I am certain the perpetrator is white, male, protestant, wears glasses.

Only the gun and bomb-making parts cases where they sell fake parts themselves to a would-be terrorist...

ok has nobody else seen this?........why would you carry something into the woods that looked like a bomb??????....PUT IT DOWN AND RUN!!!!!!...something doesn't add up....

The caretaker told investigators that as he was walking back to the house he noticed the envelope looked suspicious, the source said. He dropped it in the woods away from the residence and called the Bedford Police Department, which sent officers to the scene.

Do any of them have the stamps cancelled? I have seen pics of 3 and they didn't.

The last reporting I saw was that all of them were in the USPS system at some point. With such an irregular package, I'm not surprised that some of them don't appear to be cancelled.

Also, how about the one - and apparently ONLY one - that was returned for insufficient postage? hahaha I mean, if they were all identical, then they ALL should've been returned, or ALL should've made it through.

    That's a head-scratcher.

It's not that there's nobody crazy enough or violent enough on the Right to do something like this. It's that people on the Right generally don't view themselves as so morally superior that violence is justified.

A notably exception like the guy who was killing abortion doctors is notable expressly for this reason. Millions Americans are passionately prolife, yet how many are resorting to violence for that end? One known, perhaps a very few others.

Yet the Antifa types are not one. They are not few. They are many and they view violence is a necessary moral imperative.

So while I'm waiting with bated breath, my gut tells me this is more likely to be a false flag op like that black dude who was painting swastiska as graffiti.

My observations do not support that assertion.

Well-adjusted people on both sides do not resort to violence. Moral superiority is rife on the right. That's kinda where the idea of "Moral Majority" comes from.

The bell curve of violence v. political spectrum has to include violence-prone neo-nazis and their ilk on the right.

You go far enough right or left, there's justification for violence in their philosophies.

Anything approaching mainstream? Not so much.
