Nice, I will stick with my Glock-22, but I think many folks will want and get one just for the cool factor.
Be the first on your block to own the new Glock!

I've seen people who have cut the grip of their Glock 17 to make it the same size as the G19 (or even the G26).

Maybe that will be the next Glock. :dunno:

I'm sure every combination of grip and slide lenght would sell.

That's a nice looking pistol. Of course the whole reason I went with the 19 in the first place was it's overall size. It conceals great if needed.

The X with the longer hand guard won't.

I'm gonna have a look at the G19X..
    Looks like it's available 1/22/18..
I too think the frame will be too big for concealed carry BUT??
It would be pretty hard for anyone to perfect the Glock 19 2nd Gen
I'll note the new Gen5 G17s & G19s have only one locking block pin as if it wasn't intended to ever be converted to 40S&W or 357SIG

    HEY!! I Made 50.. All Right!!:ar15:

Based on this video, looks like they are also releasing a Gen 5 G34 & G26.

I am definitely a Glock fanboy, so the 19X will definitely be on my WTB list. I am actually a bit surprised to see Glock switching things up a bit, even if they are just trying to recover some of their MHS costs.

I would have preferred a G19 sized single stack 9mm, or the reveres of the 19X....a G17 slide on a G19 frame. Kind of like this one I built last month. Had a G17 frame chopped, finger grooves removed and stippled by NAF Solutions in FL.

Yikes, I thought I might pick one of these up but the blue label price is $528.50. They come with night sights but that's a bit salty for me, I'll just keep waiting for a Gen5 G19 MOS.

I'll get one, I like the fact that it doesn't have that cut at the bottom of the grip in the front, to grip the magazine or whatever. Thats why I didn't buy a gen5 19, my pinky feels crappy on it, and I am also a huge glock person. This will probably be my new carry, since I was already thinking of buying a 17 gen5 for EDC

I'm probably going to pick up a 34. If so, first personally owned Glock ever.

G17 slide on a G19 frame makes way more sense to me, and I think most folks out there who carry strong side [1].

I don't see much use the other way unless one carries AIWB or has really large hands. Either way, those would seem to be smaller market segments. Hmm. Makes you wonder what the rationale is. Expecially since other mfgs have done something similar (ex. SIG).

Maybe they are thinking they'll sell a whole bunch of these, then come out with the model that a lot of folks have built for themselves for years and years?
