I don't consider blackpowder a need, though I have a few dozen original pieces dating back 200 years.

But one shouldn't have to justify "need" to anyone.

She says she needs a new planer and a lathe. I'm cool with that, too.

I often consider minimizing what I already have and possibly only keeping what I really need. The problem is, I don’t know what I really need, does anyone really know what they need? You alway need to consider what are truly your needs, if you determine that you need one handgun and that handgun fails when you need it most, then in reality, you needed two handguns... just something to think about

What you said but in every caliber, and very action and you forgot long range requirements in every caliber and every action, and every historical weapon in every caliber and every action. Carry on. I'm sure there are more...
