Wow...Same age as me, graduated HS the same year...That's just a shame...Why on earth someone would kill her is beyond me...Sounds like she didn't have any enemies.....

Because bad people do bad things. There is not always a rhyme or reason. Sometimes, but not always.

To borrow a Rumsfeld line, we don't know what we don't know. Printcraft mentioned the man in Zionsville a couple weeks back. Two adults murdered at their home, no known enemies, not in areas where you'll catch a stray bullet from a drug-deal gone bad or gang-bangers settling a score.

    Scary times boys and girls.

Should residents in Redmon's neighborhood be concerned about the area's relative safety? No answer to that question, Kirk. What's worse it looks like there was no connection between the victim and the murderer.

Wait and see. We shall likely find out more on Monday when/if the State files.

I am not concerned. I turn on my lights and I don't answer the door by flinging open the front door. I keep telling you guys that not turning on the outside lights and opening the front door (Instead of talking through it) will get you killed.

WTHR is now saying that this was NOT a random crime... Haven't seen their story yet. It was just a pre-commercial break announcement. At any rate the kid needs to have his unibrow parted with a nice .45" hole.

ETA: Well that was a bunch of nothing...

    From their website:
"Investigators haven't said anything about a possible motive in the case, but did say they believe this was not a random act of violence."There's indication within the investigation that this was a chosen crime," Sgt. Michael Brown said.
Police didn't say, though, what the motive could be or if there's a connection between Redmon and her alleged killer."

It's almost like longbow is doing their reporting. :):

    Not the media's fault.

We won't know a "motive" until TCPA files, and even then, it may be unclear.

The motive, why it happened and what the public wants to know most, it often confused or unknown.

I find it interesting, the plea of "innocent" He did it, he said he did it, mistaken identity or not, and the plea is innocent. Give me a break. Time to buy rope. Maybe more than one.

What's this now? Innocent? Not tracking.

In Indiana an automatic plea of Not Guilty is entered, but the Ridgeway Runner has not been charged yet.
