USPSA "outlaw" match!! Might have affiliation completed by then.

Come test your shooting skill during the USPSA "outlaw" match at Parabellum.
It will be outlaw in that it will be run by a range that is not affiliated with USPSA at this time. Affiliation may come down the road if feasible. All other USPSA rules and scoring will be in place. COLD RANGE rules will be in place. No handling of firearms except in the safe area or on the line under the direction of the Range Officer.
Practiscore will be used to score the match so result should be immediate.

    • When: Wednesday, December 17th
    • Registration Opens: 4:00pm Cash first registration second. No RSVP
    • Shooters Meeting: 5:20pm sharp
    • First shot by 5:30 sharp
    • Stages: 3 total, 90 rounds
    • Cost: $15 per person

There will be 2 flights. Flight one from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Flight two will shoot from 7:30 to 9:30pm.
Each flight will be strictly limited to 20 shooters. ( no exceptions)
Registration for flight 2 will open at 6:45pm.

Don't forget that SNS Bullets are available for purchase.

I think I am good. If the back feels better, I can help with the 2nd shift as well. So far injection #5 has been a bust.

I am assuming that registration opening at 5:00 p.m. is just a suggestion? I've been there at 4:45 the last few times and been nearly last to sign up for flight #1

Yes they will take payment and register folks earlier. But not calling in an RSVP. Cash first register second.

Bowling pins have the added attraction that they occasionally shoot back. At the other match they're talking about, it will be interesting to see how that works inside a concrete box which can trap and funnel ricochets.

Affiliation is in the mail. The only outlaw part of the match has been that we are not affiliated. Trying to keep everything else legal. No bowling pins.

    planning on being there

    Me too.

three 32 round stages. Hope to make it a little more of a thinking stage tomorrow. Not sure how that will pan out. Could use a few hands on the set up so we can tweak the thing a bit before the shooters meeting. See you all there.

Don't you think the A zone on the Classic USPSA target and a bowling pin are similarly shaped?! (Ok, I'll drop it. I am trying my best to get to 50 posts so I can get off of the bunny slope on this site.)
