INGO 3 gun shoot (south of richmond) - 4-3-11

30 degrees, 725 yards and 25 mph gusts, that's what TurnandShoot and I were practicing in last weekend, then again, 25 mph wind on my flat range is nothing compared to Vette's wind....Its like the Bemata triangle of wind over there.

Setup sounds awesome Vette! 30 shot limit and moving the target in 25 yards to make for easier miss recognition and correction all sound very acceptable.

Really looking forward to the fun this Sunday!

im thinking shoot the centerfire first since its out there in the wind more with less blocking and its not susposto get that windy until a little later in the day, but ill defintally take general consensis on it

Sweet, I'm pumped. Gonna hit the Keystone Light strong tonight so I am forced to focus harder tomorrow...I'm already 3 in and still got a Butler ballgame to watch and gots to go to the Eagles....solid!

Careful there, Oneshot. Let somebody else drive you to the eagles. Caveman and I have Faceplant hogtied and the alarm set. We all had chili for dinner so nobody wants to be down wind of us tomorrow. Spotters upwind only! I've got that CZ bagged up to bring too. I just hope we have enough room for all the rifles and pistols. Faceplant decided he'd rather shoot the .223 for the distance so I didn't have to reload .308 tonight. Had to do a quick ballistic calculation for 55gr ball ammo. we'll see how it does at distance.

Thanks for putting this event together, I had a great time. Congrats to faceplant for proving the internet commandos wrong and shooting 55 grain bullets out of an AR-15 700 yards in the wind and kicking butt with them. I didn't think it was possible.
The best part is meeting a bunch of great people with similar interests(and beating the guy who gave me a ride to the event but we don't want to talk to much about that, time will heal caveman)
I love turning money into noise!

Jrainw...I must say, if you weren't such a nice guy you would absolutley terrify me! After watching the iron sight mele I'll believe anything you tell me! Yeah, I take back my long range .223 beliefs after watching some of you guys kick a** with those AR's.


That's honestly some of the most fun I've had in a while...thanks to vette and his family for putting that on.
