This is Marble, my little buddy.
He is daddy's little helper and enjoys getting into pictures.
We rescued him from a local refuge where they found him in the downtown Elkhart McDonald's parking lot begging for food.
He isn't the brightest or most dexterous cat I have known, but he makes up for it with lots of love.

Was laughing this morning with the better 2/3's about a dog and cat we had that played together and were competitors. When my father would come over and we'd sit at the kitchen counter with a cup of coffee and chew over world events the dog would sit on the floor looking back and forth between us. Well, one day Dad brought over a 1930's high chair that he'd refinished and upholstered. He presented to Chuck (the dog), invited him up and he sat right there with us at the counter.

Well, so a little later Spitzer (the cat) walked in to come see Dad and she saw Chuck sitting in the high chair. She jumped up in the air, landed behind Chuck pushing him out and she sat in the chair just proud as she could be.

Then Dad said, "Chuckie are you gonna let that old cat have your chair?"

And Chuck jumped high up in the air, landed behind the cat hooking a hind foot under her tail and putting her out into the kitchen. And the chair was forever, uncontested, Chuck's.
