Long story short, an old friend who has been corrupted by the left in his indoctrination in his pursuit of his liberal studies PHD posted an article on FB attempting to debunk the theory that sanctuary cities are to blame for high crime.
I countered that its not sanctuary cities, but long term democrat run cities that are the problem. So I started throwing very basic stats at him.
He countered with a lame heatmap that coincided with the democrat voting patterns.
I asked very pointedly it had nothing to do with that, and places like Chicago, Detroit, and Philly all of which were run by dems for decades are a coincidence?
I moved on. Later I saw the alert that he mentioned me in a comment, and 2 mins later I went to view it and I suddenly didnt have permission to view it. I moved on and posted vaguely about it, and how I won the argument via deletion. I closed the browser for a reason I cant say now. He popped into my post and said he didnt know anything about it and that the thread was still there. (apparently he blocked me and he didnt realize after doing so I couldnt see his comment about me, or any other alert activities related to the thread, tipping his hand)
He then proceeded to try to continue the debate in my thread. I told him I was not interested in discussing it out of context in my post, but would gladly continue it at the original thread.
Next post was "live long and prosper, dude". Sensing a disturbance in my force I checked my friends list. I was 1 short of what I had earlier today when I considered unfriending somebody. (maybe even him, I dont recall) All I know is I was a nice round number, and now I'm one down. 110% sure its him.
Oh well, no love lost. I bunched the panties of a liberal, and all he could do was silence me in order to "win". Sad, really as I hung onto him knowing it was bad form to unfriend just because I disagree with him, having other connections to him IRL.
One less whining liberal in my feed, so I guess thats good.
