England Dan and John Ford Coley - I'd Really Love to See You Tonight.

    Real:
I'm not talking 'bout movin' in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing the stars around
And I'd really love to see you tonight

    Me:
    I'm not talking 'bout millenium
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing the stars around
And I'd really love to see you tonight
    My wife though it was
I'm not talking 'bout the linen...

    Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven

Heard- There walks a lady we all know, white shades of light and wants to go, now everything still turns to gold. And if you listen very hard, the truth will bother you a lot.

Actual- There walks a lady we all know, who shines white light and wants to show, how everything still turns to gold. And if you listen very hard, the tune will come to you at last.

My Dad swears he's singing, "I'm not talking about Validian." We don't know who that is.

    Rick James:

    She's a very beefy girl,
the kind you don't take out to dinner,
she can eat her meals forever,
'til she can't get out her seat.

The girl is awful beefy (the girl's a super beef)
the kind of girl you read about (in a gourmet magazine)
Super beef, super beef, she's super beefy, yeah.

    She's a very beefy girl,
the kind you can't fit through the doorway,
you've got to grease and lube her,
just to get her down the hall.

The girl is awful beefy (the girl's a super beef)
the kind of girl you read about (in a gourmet magazine)
Super beef, super beef, she's super beefy, yeah.

    She's so wide,
    so awfully wide,
    so G-D wide... she's so he-he-he-he-he-heavy!

Super beef, super beef, she's super beefy, yeah...

Well, that was the way I thought it should go...

I can't rep you, but I was laughing so hard I lost my breath!

    Steve Earle, Copperhead Road:

I always heard “...headed down to Knoxville with a wicked load...”

The actual lyric is “...weekly load...”, I believe.

And if anyone can tell me what in the hell Chris Robinson sings after “Mama I’m sure hard to handle now...” let me know!

    Near the big river.
Thanks to my misspent youth and lots of loud noises from guns and bombs, I have tinnitis....... bad.

Buckcherry had a song about being drunk, a Southern Rock tune that was catchy. Heard it on the radio when I was working. Something about drinking and women....One day after work, getting in the shower hear it on XM which is unfiltered.

The words actually say "Too drunk to F&&k you.......Wow, glad I have bad hearing....

Not a song but a jingle for Universal Windows Direct:

First time I heard the ad on the radio, instead of "U-Ni-Ver-Sal Windows Direct!" I thought they were saying "You never saw windows so derelict!"

Crosby Stills Nash - Southern Cross

    actual:
Got out of town on a boat goin' to Southern islands
Sailing a reach before a followin' sea
She was makin' for the trades on the outside
And the downhill run to Papeete
Off the wind on this heading lie the Marquesas
We got 80 feet of the waterline nicely making way
In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you

Sailing a eerily before a followin' sea
She was makin' for the trades on the outside
And the downhill run to Pompeii Bay
    bla bla bla bla
We got 80 feet of the waterline nice for making waves
In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you
