I wonder if that offer to upgrade to benefactor level is still good? I wasn't going to do that but maybe I should reconsider...

My daughters jr membership is due in March so i will renew her for 2 years. My taxes should be in, so i will be paying off my easy pay lifetime as well. Wife isnt due till August but will probably re-up her too at the same time.

I told my wife I was buying lifetime memberships for her and the kids soon looks like the 24th would be a good day to cover at least some of that. Maybe all if funds permit.

I am an Endowment Life Member now and will probably upgrade when the Annual Meetings comes to Indianapolis again in 2019 if not before.

What do all the different types of life memberships mean? When I called to buy a life membership they didn't tell me they had different types of life memberships. But in NRA tgreads ive noticed people inserting different words before their "life member" status. Am I missing something?

Basically, it's like when you upgrade any membership to anything else. It's a way to get more money out of you and they give you a new sticker for your car, some new perks, etc. And right now, a nice looking jacket. I wasn't going to upgrade mine and instead use that money to buy another case of ammo or something. But even though I have some reservations about their recent position on the bump stock thing, I decided to help them out.

I got the leather jacket and some magazine. They had lile 3 choices and i just picked the one that sounded less stupid. But they didn't really go over other perks. The main thing I wanted was voting rights. I guess i see now they have some level of membership that if you donate 1 million dollars you get a yellow blazer. Yeah, I'll never be that lucky so I guess I'll be happy with my brown jacket lol

There are much better organizations you should be supporting than the NRA, who has not only supported banning bump stocks (which could lead to the banning of aftermarket triggers) but also supported the Hughes amendment. The NRA only cares about lining their pockets with the money of baby boomers.

Why don't you go buy a stick and place it where the 'sun don't shine'. If we don't support the NRA... a stick is all we may have some day.

I'm in for the money bomb!

I'm in. I'll help money "bomb" NRA with what I can afford on 3-24-18. I like the idea but probably only Fox News will mention it.

Amen to that. I am also in for $20. Would be more but my VA disability check doesn't get here till the first.......wait! I COULD send a check then it wouldn't hit the bank till the first.

That money is already in an account held by the NRA. They only spend the interest gained by the deposited money. Midway USA constantly deposits all of it into that account along with other companies doing the same.

Thanks Chris. I was seriously hoping this was straight up.

Heart warming to see so many folks supporting our 2A with money and new memberships to the NRA. :ingo::patriot:

With this in mind, wonder if there is a strategy forming on the timing of signing up?
Sign up soon, thinking the increased numbers will reflect in news reports on "anti-gun day?"
Or sign up on 3.24.18 to show the number as a reaction to the "march?"
