More WW2 Bunker exlporation in Normandy, France.

I tried to lift myself on top of that block but couldn't.The top being rounded it's impossible to get a good grip.

There are a few other structures around.
Maybe a platform for a mortar or an anti aircraft gun.

That was a radar station.
Probably just a shaft to access rooms underneath.

That's why you had 2 or 3 platforms around for anti aircraft guns to protect the antenna.

As you walk closer to the beach you can see yet another bunker.

Mind the gap with that big rock at the bottom of that pit, right in front of the stairs ... safety first!

Looks like the facade facing the beach took a hit.

I think that's all for today's pictures.
I might go back to the site later with some climbing gear to explore the inside of that shaft.

No idea how deep it is but there is clearly something underneath.
Nazi gold? Finger crossed!
