Has anyone had any experience with a company called FIE ?
They closed their doors some time ago but made a 32.
A friend of mine has an engraved FIE Titan II model GT 32E.
    It's a Beretta clone.

I have not heard of them, but I am intrigued, why would one want one of these over a Berretta???

It's still an Italian made handgun, and he purchased it way back in the 80,s

It's an interesting looking pistol with really nice engraving on it. I will try to get a picture of it from him.

This arrived today. Savage 1907, made in 1918. Need to get a set of replacement grips eventually. Actually had some arrive today, but they're too small to fit snugly enough to stay in place. Probably only off by a few thousandths of an inch, but I've already contacted the seller on Gunbroker to let him know I'll need to return them. Anyhow, on to the good stuff... :)

These are the original grips. They're actually in pieces but they fit so nice and tight, you can't tell, and they feel solid... until you remove them and they go to pieces. :n00b:

Also was looking for repro mags (the originals are about $100 apiece) and they only come in 7 round instead of the original 10 round. This was the explanation I got from the seller on Gunbroker:

"Triple K figured out that the spring in the factory mags was way too small and that was why the factory mags were failing to feed, they beefed up the spring so it would last and now the mag only holds 7 rounds but it will last a long time by doing that, hope this explains it, thanks, jim"

Even Numrich only lists them as 7 rounds (originals were 10 round). I thought maybe they were really 10 round and they just listed them as 7 to get around the states with weird mag limits but apparently that's not the case.

I do like those metal grips on those 1907s.. But those are on early ones, I do not know if they fit ones made later..???
