How does anyone think that red flag laws will work? Do you seriously think that taking the weapons currently owned would prevent the individual from obtaining others? Might well exacerbate the problem.

This guy is making a HUGE assumption, and according to the founders of this nation, an incorrect assumption.

Our founders wrote the Constitution knowing that bad people get into power, and wield power for nefarious purposes. I believe that anyone whose eyes are wide open about what the Left is doing in the USA, will see their purposes on guns are pure evil. Mahatma Gandhi, Mr. Peace, Love & Understanding himself; said "Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act of depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest." If Gandhi says the act of disarming people is the blackest of deeds, that's pretty bad.

If any of you know of Larry Grathwohl, the only guy to ever infiltrate the communist terror group Weather Underground, then you know that Obama's buddy Bill Ayers was one of the top communist revolutionaries in the USA at the time. And he's talked openly about this plan to eliminate conservatives & patriots. And this communist plan has been developed further than anyone realizes. Leftist college students know about this plan AND WELCOME IT AS THE ANSWER TO THEIR HATRED OF ALL THINGS NOT 'WOKE'!! This plan has been in development for the last 50 years and I guarantee you it's gonna target a LOT MORE THAN JUST 25 MILLION. Maybe 125 million (that's the # of gun owners in America).

Why would the Left want to go full Stalin on us now, and (starting in VA but not limited to that state), go ALL IN on their gun-ban insanity?? BECAUSE THEY PLAN TO STEAL THE 2020 ELECTION, but if not this year then definitely 2024! THEY HAVE TO TAKE ALL THE GUNS BEFORE THEY SEIZE POWER, THIS IS CENTRAL TO THEIR PLANS... INCLUDING THE GULAGS! They intend to make America communist, by any means necessary, and if they can't communize America (just listen to all the socialists like AOC - their "crazy talk" is actually pure socialism), then they'll destroy our nation to spite us. They even have plans to - if the American people snap out of it and take up arms to resist them - bring in UN troops from communist countries like China if they don't succeed in taking over and "fundamentally transforming" America past the point of no return.

Only a pollyanna believes that Democrat politicians are just misguided. They're domestic enemies of the Constitution, our liberty, our property and prosperity, and our very lives. Just look at this past week and how they sided with the terrorists just so they could criticize Mr. Trump's CORRECT decision to take out that terrorist dog, Soleimani! This is a "party of treason", as memorialized on at least one tombstone that I know of - maybe more... and it's always been this way. And if someone is 'triggered' by this editorial, sorry, I don't coddle snowflakes. I don't know how.


Red Flag laws are wholly unconstitutional and violate nearly the ENTIRE Bill of Rights!! Their true purpose is to start disarming the American people while the majority are asleep to the threat and while most cops operate on auto-pilot, carrying out orders without question. Already the Democrats are saying ALL gun owners and ALL 2A activists are "crazy", "deranged", "dangerous" and "a threat to everyone around them". Just the sort of trope one needs to use Red Flags as they were designed to do: end-run the Constitution and disarm Americans.

You'll NEVER convince me that antigun politicians aren't malign in their intentions. All of human history proves that men cannot be trusted to be good, mankind's tendency is to evil. You just don't get it, do you Brad69? It's not about what is actually happening in reality, but what some people imagine could happen in some armchair scenario. We can't have facts muddying up these waters! Heck, even when you plainly show people the law, they still pretended that they're one phone call away from being SWAT'ed.

My guess is the best that you'll get is someone pointing at a situation in another state, or perhaps just a vague reference to an INGOer. I've been wanting to see some data - both good and bad, but there's not a lot out there - unless you're a researcher and knows how to get it.
