We need to come up with a secret handshake or something so we don't blow each other's cover. :shady:

How about a ponting your finger like it's a gun and if the other guy returns fire he's a memeber????:)

And as this will eventually degrade at some point due to others not knowing or reading through BOTH threads .....

    IBTL :rockwoot:

*Just to clarify I mean returning imaginary fire......I also have a premature IBTL I see. Darn, my first one ever was yesterday worked so well.

Posting IBTL seems to be a favorite INGO past-time these days. So here's to the good times!

You know, I kind of agree with X10. Being discrete is one thing, but if you're wearing an INGO shirt (in my case) or a hat in yours, I'll most likely come up and say hello. If you're not a *******, and a quick and quiet conversation starts, the topic will obviously be centered around firearms, and will probably go to that place you're trying to desperately not to bring attention to.

I'm not going to pull my piece out in the supermarket, I don't believe that anyone that takes the effort to spend their free time on the INGO website would do that. But if you're advertising that you're carrying (or interested in INGO), expect that people who know what INGO is are going to take more notice of you.

If you don't want conversation like this, don't wear your colors in public.

Joe Williams has the right idea on how to handle this kind of interaction.
You were wrong. You are supposed to give the secret sign, the secret handshake, the secret french kiss, and a sly grin, and go about your business, thereby not drawing attention to yourselves.

Discretion is the better part of valor. :twocents:

    Hey Mods

    Please combine this thread....

    Please be discrete.....
All INGO members please exercise some decorum. :n00b:

I was out minding my own business the other day, just trying to blend you know, when out the blue some tool starts shooting the **** with me.

I was rocking my INGO hat but was trying to stay under the radar
because I was CC my Glock .40 and someone might have made a grab for it when they found out I had a gun, the reason I NEVER OC.

Well, I'm here to tell you I told that guy what for and that he should mind his own F-ing business.

I mean he just announced to everyone in Evansville that I had a gun.
    What a jack ***. :xmad:

Just because I have my tacticool INGO hat on is not an excuse to blow my cover. So please think. Loose lips sink ships.

    With this thread....

Was I wrong??? (INGO hat spotted in Evansville)
Was in Evansville recently for a conference. I usually don't go up to people and just shoot the **** out of the blue. Especially about guns or the like. Even though my intent wasn't to pry, he did wear a INGO hat!
I mentioned I liked the website and I was a member. He looked at me as if I asked for his first born. "Mind your own F-ing business" he said. "just announce I have a gun you jack ***" I didn't even mention guns, I just said I liked the website. He did a great job announcing he had a gun though.
I have a few choice words do describe this guy, and I hope you/he reads this!
Was I wrong? I figured he had the hat on, it would be safe.

Then everyone will know who the tool is...
