walmart in louisville said manufacturer had a shipping block on them

What does that mean? Does that mean the manufacture just does not have any to ship? They are prioritizing to vendors that pay more? What manufacture? Federal, Winchester etc.?

I had expressed interest before, but I can commit to 1k of rounds if under $450. Preferable closer to 350-400. Thanks!

    cool Guys!

Seems that some ammo is coming back to the shelves, maybe the mfg's are catching up.
Mostly getting ignored by them, they say to contact their major retailers. First in line I guess...

PS: I saw somewhere that a guy got 1000 rds from an online place for the low $300's range, if memory serves. Just 1000 tho, they were limiting purchases.

Talked to an LGS, he said things are loosening up a bit, expects better prices and
availability in the future. He just got 100,000 rds in a week or so ago, sold out in
a week... even at the higher prices. HE PAID more than we
want for our GP, ($.50/round) but expects things to normalize eventually.

Great news! It'll get done, when it's done. I expect most of us are in this for the long haul. Thank you for your efforts. :yesway:

OK Guys, no real details yet, but I believe we can get around $.40 per round
if we are patient. Maybe better. I know many are going to drop out in these
price ranges, but IMO a 100K order is going to be BIG for a supplier to fill, as
all the retailers are seeking these size orders. I'm checking with LGS's and
Aszerigan is checking his sources as well. My LGS got over 100K of 5.56 but
had to drive to get that, and his cost for ammo alone was $500/1000 rds.
Not to mention gas... so it is still kinda bleak for the moment.

We hope to have regional overlords (lol) to distribute ammo to the buyers.
I will likely handle the Terre Haute Area, but some CCW backup personnel
would be nice to have around ;)

I had a volunteer for Lafayette area, Evansville, and I believe Andrew (Aszerigan)
had some folks who could handle other areas. I also had one for up north, kinda
East Chicago area. (roughly) I need to go back over the thread and contact these
    peeps and keep it rolling...
