I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my son not only refused to participate in the walkout, he also got into an argument with the girl that was the leader of it at his school. Not only that, he looked up the statistics on gun deaths compared to things like car accidents, etc. and texted the info to his friends. Trust me on this, that info went out to thousands of high school kids, he is very popular.

My daughter asked me 'what a walk out is' today. I asked her why?(she's in 7th grade). She said an article popped up somewhere she was reading that said a student was suspended for not walking out...in Ohio I think.. The reason was 'students need to be supervised at all times'.

This is from her reading it to me...anyone seen the article elsewhere?

Sounds like the students needed a lesson taught.

Two things here.

One, come on, why would you leave money not on your body? They need to learn there are thieves.

Two, maybe if they learn that some people are thieves, they might make the jump in logic that some people will harm you.
