These are a few pics from my family's property in VA. This just so happens to be on the tree next to my tree stand that I'll be hunting next week for VA's opening week of rifle season.
I have had my camera out since a week before gun season. Was REALLY late getting it out this year. I was going to check it after gun season to see what bucks might have moved into the area since the start of gun season. I already shot my buck there so now I am going nuts waiting to go in and get it. I hope I have it in the right place because There are two monsters in there I would like to get some pictures of. Seeing some of the pictures in this thread makes me want to get a new camera no though. There are some excellent camera pics here.
Time for some more! Swapped cards last night and still had 35% left on the batteries so I left the cam out there. I had 202 pics but only kept 46 of them. Some were of nothing and others were only half deer pics. Here's some of what I got.
First off, looks like the bobcat is still hanging around.
Bucks, does and yotes.
And for the last, what is this? Tough to tell. Looks like a yote laying down? Not sure.
I'm always excited to see whats on my camera. It's like opening a present every week or so. Here are a few from my camera this season
this big boys only shows up around 3:00am never any time huntable but walks past often. Sometimes he gets so close to my camera I think he is smelling me on it but doesn't care
Nice rack! I'd like to have him on my wall! I have seen trail cam pics of a bobcat in southern decatur county (near Milhousen). I believe there are more around than what most people think...they just hide really well!
