Spring snowstorm... bad timing

Mama is heading to Georgia this morning. She called about an hour ago, She's south of Indy and was stopping for breakfast, just started snowing where she was.

Not a flake in Muncie. When I woke up this morning, I checked the Weather Bug app on my phone. 100% chance of precipitation at 0800. Two and a half hours later, still nothing. Indiana weather says, "Just kidding."

Easily over an inch in southeast Fishers. Roads are finally covered. Snow is coming down pretty good now.

They do tend to walk out into traffic without looking. I'm really surprised more aren't hit by traffic.

KellyinIceStationAvon with an on the spot weather observation: it's really crappy out there. Blowing sideways with probably close to 5 inches on the ground. It's 30 degrees here, weather forecast keeps pushing the above-freezing point back. Something to do with it not warming up would be my guess.
