Thoughts and prayers for the officer.

May the criminal die at the scene of the barricaide with no further injury to innocent people and cost to the tax payers.

Heres to hoping this ends like the Evansville standoff, with one less piece of trash alive

What a shame. Prayers for the officer & family.

I always thought of Terre Haute as kind of a sleepy, laid back town, really surprised to hear something like this.

I was born in TH, raised in a nearby town, and lived there when I moved out on my own. It can be like that, but drug related violence has cropped up all over. Not to say that's the case here--but this did happen in an area that over the past few decades has been known for dangerous activity.

We used to travel through TH pretty regularly. Over the years, parts of it definitely have went down hill from the perspective of passing through about every two weeks for meetings.

It is not. I have heard gunshots nearby at least three times while walking to the truck after a night class.
