VJ is, in fact, short as hell. Colloquially speaking, a dwarf. My characterization was not meant to be a medical or physiological assessment. I'm just saying it to be derogatory due to her politics.

Her father, by all accounts a brilliant doctor, and by chance an African-American expatriate, was in fact under investigation for being a...communist. IIRC, she was born in Iran to light-skinned African American parents. They did her DNA on that genealogy show and it came back that she has Euro ancestors, too (like many African Americans).

She has a fascinating family history.

My Argentine wife's DNA looks like a pizza sliced up for more company than expected...Big shock? She's as much Native American and British Isles as she is Spanish and Italian....Her Great Britain hating mother did not take that lightly....Ofcourse she got mad when I took the plate she got us in Argentina of the country and wrote in Falklands Islands over Islas Malivinas...And put a small British Flag on it......

I like that genealogy show (that I'm totally drawing a blank on... the PBS version of Who Do You Think You Are or something like that.) It either had pictures or made me curious.

I watch it as well.....I love it actually....."Finding your roots".....Many episodes are on Youtube for free.....

I don't think highly of VJ at all. I don't have anything nice to say about her. If someone wants to say she's a vile person, I can agree with that. But her DNA has nothing to do with what's wrong with her. No reason to call her less than human. The thing that makes her evil is ideology and actions. Making it about DNA reveals some stuff about one's thinking.

Meh. Roseanne gonna Roseanne. This is the same woman who thought it would be funny to grab her crotch and spit when singing the National Anthem.

I watched the first three episodes. I found it pretty dull and overdone. They tried to cram in too many social issues and politics. They had everything but an opiod overdose. The plot and immersion sucked as a result and I gave up on it. That said, I wasn't a huge fan of the first Roseanne show, so I'm probably not the target market.
