I think they were talking to try to figure out where each other was, knowing that the other could locate them.

This was the first show that illustrated just how seriously Negan takes [STRIKE]Justine[/STRIKE] Lucille. Before it was a bit silly, but this did show just how off the deep end he is for the bat. I do hope we see the backstory to that. Perhaps the last gift from a son or daughter...?

I HATE the way they just had Jadis magically appear to pull Negan out. She was seriously F*d up from seeing all her friends wasted. That was reasonable. It would take time to recover. But consider, Ricks assault on Negan was an impulsive action. It wasn't planned. He had to wing it just to tag Negans car in the first place. Where they both ran was blind chance. There were zombies all over the place. How the hell did Jadis even find Negan, or Rick, follow without being seen, then follow Ricks assault on Negan, then go through the entire area unheard? BullS*. They should have at least had the decency to have the shots from her firearm in the background as she took out a few zombies. Something to indicate she was there. But no. They want to drag out the drama, so let's just have God MIRACLE Jadis in to continue the story. That, to me, was crap.
