I will agree with that. The SigPro or the SP2022 is the notable exception to the otherwise great lineup of Sig pistols.

    +2.

Not a fan of the plastic Sigs at all.

Disagree - of my three sigs two are all steel (1911, P229) and one is half polymer (SP2022). I feel the SP2022 is an outstanding gun for the price, value-wise it's hard to beat. The trigger isn't the greatest, but for $350 new it is, in my opinion, about the best entry level DA/SA handgun you can buy.

If your talking entry level DA/SA then i would look into a CZ. They are cheap reliable and freaky accurate. The DA can be heavy and gritty but the SA is fairly crisp and light, or if you like polymer the new FN FNX-9 is also worth looking into, (i love mine great trigger and totally reliable so far just frustrated by the lack of an after market). Alas i had to sell my CZ 75b because of the need for more guns, but i will soon hopefully own a p01(9mm) or p06(.40S&W). Just cant decide on the caliber.

    Yep, another +1 here.

    CZ's are awesome.

Haha, show me where I can get a CZ-75B or CZ SP01 for $350 new :):

I'm a big fan of CZ handguns too, but not many people can match the level of quality that Sig is putting into the SP2022 at that price point.

Good point, you got me there. Typically a CZ will run between 500 & 600 bucks depending on the retailer and model, but ive handeled an sp2022 and more than a few CZs and to me the sp2022 just doesnt feel right, where the 226 fits like a broken in leather glove and the CZ like a cutom tailored suede mitten, the sp2022 feels like cheap faux leather. Just my take on it to each his own. Id rather pay the extra $200 for the feel alone, and the CZ is still in the same ballpark as a Glock price wise.

Oh i forgot about the P250! those are supposed to be real nice with an awesome DAO trigger. ive handeled one but never shot one. Wouldnt own one though just dont care for DAO. They are also normally +-500.

That fail every major department test they're put through. :n00b: ATF, Dutch Police....Sig really screwed the pooch with that gun.

Completely agree with that. The SP2022 is completely outclassed by my p229 and pretty much every other full steel sig I've handled.
