    Boxes take up space, and paperwork gets lost in the shuffle. You put the gun in your safe/case/whatever and now have this box you need to put somewhere. Multiply that by however many guns you have and that's a lot of 'wasted' space.

    The phrase, "in original box" means something toward resale value. Maybe not for the zillions of Glocks and Sigs out there after mass-production, but good guns that weren't well marketed or had technical issues that kept their sales from taking off can be affected by the lack of the original box.

    Again, if you have room keep them, if not throw them away.
    Some of you younger guys might learn a little from us that have been around on the planet for awhile.
    They do add value on a resale.

    If you never intend on selling your guns, throw them away if you must.
    But sometimes life happens, and oops I need to sell a gun to pay for a car repair so that I can keep my job.
    That's when you hard headed guys will learn that the box could have gotten you some extra $$$$$.
