So we are to "shelter in place." What if my old lady decides she is sick of my goat smelling a$$ and wants me out? You can't rent or lease a place and you can't stay there with her either. What does one do?? Can't get divorced either as the courts are closed. What now???

A tent in the backyard could work. Would be a good time to develop some survival skills for various prepper scenarios. Might help with the boredom too if you are consumed with making fire, hunting, talking to the animals, etc.

Take a shower. Put on pants. Have a dinner date (nice clothes, candles, at dining room table, her fantasy)

Date Night was a better success than I could of imagined and so easy. Had her set the dining room table with candles while I cooked so she knew something was up since we often eat in front of the TV. While I was finishing up meal prep I sent her to put on a fancy dress (she still wore her slippers). Candles, music, wine, nice dinner... she was thrilled and my wallet is still fat. Best $20 meal in a long time and the results were like a third date. If you’ve been home alone with your wife for a week plus now get one scheduled.

Actually I am working 12 - 16 hrs/day 7 days a week. We are GM's new respirator company. Working our asses off to get buildings, clean rooms and office areas prepped so when the machinery arrives, i can install, level and test run them.

Sounds like President Trump may have saved your marriage? :)

My wife just found me reading this thread and when I explained what is was about she told me I better be posting how wonderful she is or she will be getting the shovel LOL.

Seriously, first wife, 28 years and going strong. Shipped the last kid out of the house to their own life before this mess hit, working from home and I still enjoy her company. She has read over my shoulder and approved. I will now continue living and enjoying it:rockwoot:

27 year anniversary coming up mid April. Known her much longer than that. Alot of practice & a lot harder times (so far) leading up to the current situation has helped out.

In this crazy topsy turvy world we live in today a concept that has been forgotten by the young is the magic found in a marriage that can grow forever.

It can manifest itself in incredibly humorous ways. A couple married 60+ years I knew, the wife heard of viagra and was badgering the doctor for it for her husband, they were in their 90's. So funny as neither likely could have performed but boy she was trying...

The timing of the pandemic has worked out well for me. Bought her diamond earrings for our 20th. Had enough money left over to buy a gun. She has noticed it as my new EDC during these times but has not questioned it at all.

I’m on my second marriage, 15 years now, however, I do my recon, and know where to go if things go down the crapper (my work has a nice upstairs lounge that is off limits to the public). Years ago when I got divorced from the wicked witch of the Midwest, I spent more than a few nights sleeping on a 5’ long sofa at my old employer, when you’re 6’4”, that sucks, but you do what you gotta do.

June 28th was supposed to be our wedding date in Mexico. So much for that.
