Can anybody pull up that INGO thread that was posted after the one guy stood up and said “YOU LIE!” to he former president during his address? I want to see who believed that was disrespectful. Anyway, I do believe if you are elected, you should be in attendance. You certainly don’t have to clap, but booing crosses the line in my opinion.

When I clicked on the link the first time, a different post came up. Anyway, I see we only have a couple of people from that thread still active. There is no telling if the sentiment is the same.

Enemies of the American people? That's a bit hyperbolic ain't it. You're upset that members of congress stayed seated or didn't show up? I would assume that people have seen SOTU speeches before, but I guess not. Sitting is common, not showing up is rare, but documented.

I believe that he is talking about Progressive Socialist Democrat leaders, not the rank and file democrat voter.

I for one do hate what they want to do to America. I love the American dream and with all of it's warts the America i grew up in.

The republicans leadership are too left for me too.
They are all out of bounds from what the founders wanted and put in writing. I truly fear for our Republic because of the people in control of BOTH parties but I've always feared the democrat party the most because they are the ones farther away from the constitution I believe. Isn't it quaint how you opted not to address the second part of my statement.

The fact that democrats believe a handful of criminals are more important than the American people, much less those who have lost their husbands to war, war they voluntarily signed up to fight under the belief that they are securing our liberties so that we may enjoy freedom here at home.

It is the values and moral compass of democrats. This is why you have to dismiss it out of hand, because it sickens you to your core yet you refuse to admit it.
