Just worked up a practice log sheet to record the times and hits of each drill in practice. 200 rounds of live fire practice to work on essential skills. draws, reloads and transitions. I hope to practice one per week April through October.

    I know that...

Thanks for the tip on practicing reloads only with the SS though.

I figure if I make major with the coated bullets, I'll just use them and not put any undo stress on the gun and shooter.

I just ran the numbers on the chrono. 7 shots averaged 169 PF. But that's with three in the 905-918 range and 4 with 950-975 range. Too much spread on those. It's gonna warm up too and I'm using a temp sensitive powder.
use Ramshot Silhouette....won't have to worry about the temp.

I am thinking about buying a pair of cleats.

That thought crossed my mind, but I settle on a good pair of hiking boots. I did the tennis shoe thing last year and my feet have been cussing me. So far, so good. Much more comfy. I think the cleats would be good for a range with smaller rock or grassy surface. I could see an advantage to using those on the upper half of Warsaw.

I think I need cleats for 2012 too.

We might have a pop-up tornado during a match and if everyone in the squad clings to me for safety, I need to have stable footing.
