OK people. Please do not make me lock this thread.
Hold on to your socks, this is just the first phase.
ETA I agree with schizophrenic. Congres passes a law, temporary, and administrations decide not to obey it.
There is a new Sheriff in town.
Lots of people. Thousands. A little research goes a long way.Who did the former Sheriffs make leave.
Not sure if this is directed at me, but I'll respond on my own behalf. Trump deserves bashing for things he does that are unprincipled, deceitful, and uber-politician-like. He ran as a non-politician, yet, he acts every bit the part. And not the good kind. This gotta bash Trump at every turn attitude is juvinile.
Thanks, but this is the internet. You are no more able to define the discussion than I am. The comment of the politician in the OP (the "punk" part) was not limited to the immigration issue. We are discussing one aspect of a very large picture. this aspect concerns the deportation of a group that by law was brought in nearly 8 years ago.
While violating others.I know that the former administration did not obey this law and am glad that this one is taking a positive step to keep this law.
...I get it. We (don't) like the politicians that [STRIKE]favor the laws we like over the laws we don't like[/STRIKE] arrest potential paying customers before we can represent them. That's human nature.
Here's some of that "new sheriff" at work:

Enforcing the law - at the house of the law? Shocked and appalled.
