Right around 2010 is when I started carrying all the time. Never had a license for it in my life. Pietta 1851 .36 caliber. First pistol was a 1911, still waiting on constitutional carry to carry it in public.

2011, Indiana. Started with a Rock Island Commanders-size 1911. Went to a Glock 19 Gen 3 later that year, Glock 26 Gen 3 in early 2013 and ever since.

All the way back 30 years ago, I bought and carried a Ruger p85 which still sits in my gun safe today, but most recently I’ve been carrying one of my sig sauers (226 legion or a p320) and occasionally a smith 638 airweight

Indiana issue: 1980, Model 10 S&W, 4in bbl, Tapered, Sq Magna Grips. Wifey: same year, state, Beretta 25ACP. Like James Bond. Martini, Shaken, not Stirred.
(close call from 4-12 shift, 3 possible carjackers) Never left home without it! Add: Still have M10! Beretta traded for a M49 Bodyguard J Frame. Same ammo for both.

Indiana, of course. First carry was a Ruger SR22 that I dropped into a coat pocket on my evening walks during the winter. Later moved to a Taurus 709 with an actual holster. Dropped that for a PC Shield which has been my EDC since.

First carry license in 1994, from the great state of Indiana.

My first gun was a Ruger P89DC, but I never carried it. My first carry was a Smith & Wesson Sigma SW40, which changed when it started breaking and then I learned how much better I could shoot with anything that wasn't a Sigma.

2013 , applied the day I turned 18, it was right after Sandy Hook happened and the mad scramble began took pretty much exactly 6 months to get my permit.

First carry gun was a Smith and Wesson Shield chambered in 9mm
