I believe his point was the behavior greatly inconsistent with the faith being worn, not the faith itself. My guess is that your Hindus at the station don't act in ways inconsistent with Hinduism just like our INGO atheists have offered kind thoughts to others but have never offered to pray for distressed members.

Fair enough response...I kinda read it the same way and was just trying to tell him to not be bummed out over it..Rep incoming for a classy response when I probably didn't deserve one....

Bare Arms is a great place to AVOID! I went there once and while I don't OC and therefore was not asked to disarm, it seemed that they were annoyed that I was there. So I took my money elsewhere. I recommend Indiana Gun Club in Fishers. Somehow they can treat you like a customer should be treated where this concept is lost on Bare Arms.

    Interesting conversation going on there..

Tom Ok. I'm I missing point here. Do people often walk into other retail store armed? Why would someone need to be armed while shopping in a store? I haven't seen many people carrying a firearm at the mall. If they did, I'm sure security would approach them with caution.

Tom Plus I'm sure there is sign posted on the front door asking patrons to please unload any weapon. It's a safety thing folks.

Tom No. So you carry your gun everywhere? Time and place for a firearm.

Owner is an A-Hole and the fat holster sniffer he has/had working for him is a ginormous A-Hole. I'll never set foot in there again after giving them the benefit of the doubt after the first experience.

Man and it was just getting good on there. At least the review is still up for those of us to like. I haven't seem this much hate for a store in a long time.

I stop at a quickie mart every morning to get breakfast...They wear their hinduism on their sleeve and it doesn't bother me at all...My dollar bills have "In God we Trust" on them and I don't even notice....We have INGO'ers that wear their Atheism on their sleeve....

Don't let peoples Faith bum you out....Open display of Faith has a long standing tradition in a Nation that prides itself on Relgious Freedom.....IMHO ofcourse and folks are entitled to get bummed about whatever they want.....
While I find the store you speak of kinda grimy, the younger hindu fella that always seems to be there, is very friendly and always pleasant to deal with in the early morning hours that I visit.

I live less than 10 mins away and will gladly drive an hour or more to another shop. That place sucks. Prices and selection are bad but their customer service is TERRIBLE. I walked in there once and was gone quickly with no thought of ever returning. They are rude/dismissive/condescending to customers (unless you are a cop). Now that I hear this it adds even more to never giving them a dollar. Every person I have ever spoken to has nothing good to say about this place so I'm glad to know it's just not me. The Facebook post, to me, is just trying to save face. Not once did they acknowledge what they did and how it is wrong or apologize to the OP. They just made some "keep if safe" comment. They didn't mention that the liberal in disguise would still disarm you if he felt the need for "his safety".

I too made a comment only on one of their posts.

    Edit:
They made a post saying all are welcome, but please keep your firearms in a safe manor while in the store.
I guess their idea of a "safe manner" is to unholster and unload in the store. Yep, that's a lot safer than leaving it secured in a holster.

You wanting me to handle my loaded firearm in your store tells me all I need to know. I'm walking.

Ok I have to go see the shop now.

i don't normally OC so I won't in the store but I will carry. I want to know where all the Hamilton county cops are anyway.

i don't always listen to led zeppelin but when I do so do the neighbors.
