That WAS good chicken. I really wanted to grab that last breast but I forgot to see if it was still there after I passed.

He didn't grab your breasts, did he?Nigel was pretty convincing today when we spoke at the 1500. I'll check my schedule and sign up shortly
And that's exactly what this class is for. We've had a lot of success with Project Appleseed and Revere's Riders Basic/Field clinics but the majority of gun-owning Hoosiers are still "conceal & carry" folks or they're plinkers who occasionally shoot in their neighbor's back yard off the picnic table.Signed up. You're all earning your money with me lol.
I'm a complete noob out of prone
I am interested in these classes after reading all the post seems everyone learn a lot. Do you let people have any optics's on there AR?
Thank you gregkl I do have a vortex 1-6 just wanted to know if that was ok or get me some flip ups. It does look like a good class as I have said everyone talked well about it.
If you count a red dot as an optic, I think all but about 3-4 of us had optics of some sort.
I really wanted to get through the class without any optics. I think optics on ARs is overkill. I think I should be able to hit anything inside of 300 meters without optics.
Of course getting a CORRECT ZERO would help first...
My mind agrees with you. Sadly, my eyes do not
+1. After my first Appleseed I was really encouraged and motivated to try irons. I can do it but it's just not as much fun and if I am shooting a lot, I experience a lot of eye fatigue. I did the Garand clinic and though it was fun, I realized that I am past my prime in using military style peep sights.
At this stage I welcome the low power variable scope. I really like my Leupold VX-R 1-4!
