Why would you carry the cheap gun and not the best (be it a Ravine or a Bear or the other way around) you can in defense of your life? It seems to me if your life or your loved one's life depended on it you would want the best tool to protect them in your holster that you could afford.
now you sound like me.
Methinks the OP shall never return to this thread...
He's too busy out carrying his Colt 1903 in .32 acp.
Talk about cheap, those sold for like 15 bucks.
I carry a old davis .32 I found a long time ago at a show, my mom made me a holister out of a old boot and a flannel shirt. serves me well.. I found some ammo at a garage sale in a old tacklebox. it looks pretty good. I have other guns to carry, but the glocks and hi-points are just to purty to carry.

purple? no, I don't happen to have a SCCY, however I do have a ed bear 45...
1. Purple text is used to indicate sarcasm, which I believe your post was intended to convey.
2. Who is Ed Bear? Did you mean Les Baer or maybe Fred Bear?
lol guys.. I know the purple.. I'm not too big on schpelling either, everyone knows what was meant by bear. The fine shop that makes Brown Baer 45's
I still got no f'ing clue as to what you're talking about.
Oh come on man...…..
I see what he is on to. But it threw me a curve when he said G**** and purty in the same sentence.....
Well, yeah, I got that, and thought it was pretty clever.
But, Brown Baer, Ed Bear... ... I guess I'm not a cool kid.
