Neither one of our political parties has the least interest in fair elections. They're both doing their best to rig the system to their advantage. Why on Earth would they do otherwise?
The only thing that surprises me is how people on both sides fall for the transparent nonsense their chosen...
Any recommendations for a product - would like to get a recoil pad / comb riser / cheek pad that would give me a bit longer length of pull and a bit higher cheek weld on my Savage 110 L (left hand).
If it matters, this is a 1960s era rifle, not one of the modern ones. Wood stock.
I know there...
Got lucky hunting today. This nice buck walked right out in front of my stand. Even better, he did it while there was still plenty of daylight to field dress him and drag him up the hill. Another bit of luck: my shot was a bit high and would have been less than ideal - could have easily been...
OK, I just got one of these today. Slapped an inexpensive red dot on it, and wow. This thing is fun. Holds a very nice group at 25 feet with most of the shots touching. That is with three pumps, which I think he'll easily be able to do. I think my son is going to be a very, very happy kid on...
Redtbird (or whomever knows) - is this thing hard to pump for a kid? It doesn't look like you would have a lot of mechanical advantage with the short length of the handguard/pump lever.
My son is 8 and my daughter is 5. They're both at about the same level of responsibility, listening to instructions, and following rules.
I've been doing some casual shooting with them using my Benjamin-Sheridan .22 pellet gun.
The good sides of this: it's quiet and doesn't kick or scare them...
Just to clarify:
My personal experience is that some 9mm JHPs will load and function just fine in a .357 SIG. There might be some flat nose that would work OK too.
The problem comes with regular round nose FMJ 9mm bullets - like the NATO spec rounds. They have too much of a long, tapering...
Might want to look at pet supply places. For some reason, the same walnut shells or corn cob husks that they sell cheap for animals to poop in command a higher price when the use is gun-related.
The one thing you have to look out for is how coarse/fine grain you are getting. Be sure the media...
Light and fast can be a good penetrator... when the sectional density is high (as in the example you cited).
A light .45 will NOT have high sectional density.
Someone else above made the example of a flat washer versus a dart. Same weight, same velocity, but the dart penetrates way better...
Is this really new? It seems like I have been hearing this for years.
I have never used any primers except Winchester for the ammo I reload for my ARs and I have never had any problem.
Sorry, I am still not delighted that every alphabet soup federal agency has its own armed forces. Most of them shouldn't exist in the first place, let alone have their own departmental armies.
