Please help this little girl with her heart surgery

I'd like you to take a look at this page now please. This family is trying to raise $10k for a heart operation for their darling little girl. Her dad, Andy Miller, is a man I worked with at the last TV station I worked at in Indianapolis Indiana. He is easily one of the kindest people I know...

A VERY worthy charity this Christmas. Please give this a look.

I'd like all of you to look at this site: Let's Bring Em Home! It is run by a guy named Ernie Stewart, who I have known for about 12 years now. He's a very funny guy but he is very serious in his desire to help out Military members, especially those of very junior rank. Ernie started "Let's...

      Another attack on Monon

I'm glad to see this law go into effect on July 1st. Every state needs to do this.

      Have you intervened?

For me, it's never really come up. But I can tell you, it would have to be something really special for me to get involved in it. Two adults slugging it out, who cares. Go ahead. Some drunk idiot and his drunk idiot girlfriend fighting? Who cares? Sounds like they were made for each other...

      wally world and ammo

I just wish Wally World would start carrying premium self defense ammo. I'd like to see the price on that stuff drop a little.

Indianapolis Zoo, Posted, carry prohibited or OK to carry there?

I think they may be putting the gorilla exhibit in. The petting zoo area of the the Indy zoo is closed down and they will be demolishing it soon to make way for a new exhibit to open in Spring of 2012 according to the signs and the leaflet we got when we entered.

Indianapolis Zoo, Posted, carry prohibited or OK to carry there?

We went to the Indy Zoo Sunday 4/3/11. Had a great time. No signs saying no carry. Just carried in my hybrid IWB holster (similar to a CB Supertuck) and no one was ever the wiser. I can honestly say two things though, one, the Indy zoo isn't as big as I thought it was and the Memphis Zoo is...

Indianapolis Zoo, Posted, carry prohibited or OK to carry there?

We plan on going to the Indianapolis Zoo next weekend. Probably buying a family membership since the zoo was our all time favorite family thing to do back home in Memphis. The Indy Zoo looks to be a nice one so I think we will probably like it as well. Any of the members here from Indianapolis...

      March 2011 Indy 1500 (18th, 19th, and 20th)

Let's see, $3 to park plus admittance for me and the wife ($10 X 2) an all 5 kids ($10 X 5) = $73 just to get in. And now I have read all the rather unflattering reviews of the show. No thanks. I think we'll pass. I can think of a ton of ways that would be much more fun to spend $73 on a Sunday.

      March 2011 Indy 1500 (18th, 19th, and 20th)

OK, me and my whole family are planning on going to the 1500 this Sunday. this will be our first time to the show. How much does it cost to park and get in? I can't find this info anywhere on line. Also, I assume this is like most gun shows, no loaded firearms allowed inside the show, even...

Movie / TV Firearm Technical Errors

As far as good gun handling in movies go, the best I have ever seen was in "Collateral" with Tom Cruise and Jamie Fox. Cruise did a very good job. I watched the making of the movie and the director, Michael Mann, sent him through an intensive combat pistol school so he would actually know how to...
