I bought a Taurus .380 at the same time my buddy bought a Kel tec. We took them to the range and both agreed the Taurus was better in several aspects. Jams, comfort to hold, and accuracy. To each his own. If a guy can afford a Smith Wesson I would definitely go that route.
It is said that if an employee refuses to allow the company to search his vehicle where I work he is immediately terminated. That's where a lawyer comes in but you can plan on it being drug out in court for a couple of years.
You really like playing devils advocate don't you.
You can state the my property my rules gimmick all you want but at the end of the day the law says I can keep a gun in my car while it is parked in your lot whether you like it or not. Now the hard part is getting the companies to play by the rules.
Speaking of what can and can't be on company property. Here's another dumb one. If you have a rebel flag bumper sticker you will be written up and asked to either remove the decal or not bring the vehicle back on the property. Now I realize that some people are offended by the rebel flag but it...
I guess I am to new this site to realize how blown up this discussion could become.
I agree with most about keeping the gun in the car and not discussing it with anyone.
I was just curious if anybody had the same B.S. to put up with as far as employers disregarding the law and our rights.
They...
Respect your point but a law has been written that says they cannot deny an employee the right to have a gun in their locked vehicle period. Can't wait till the NRA gets this to court.
As always if the politicians would get out of the way and actually enforce our laws we wouldn't have any of the problems that we are having with Mexico or the illegals:patriot:
I will agree with you but only on personnal property. As a company owner are you willing to take responsibility when an employee of yours is not able to defend themselves on the way home?
The place I work is so anti-gun that they actually went to the statehouse to argue against it. I agree, just put it in the glove box and don't worry about it but again i just wondered if anyone else had to put up with the same ridiculous stuff.
Does anyone have a problem with their employer restricting their right to have a handgun in their locked vehicle while at work?
Part of the new law states that policies or rules that deviate from the law are prohibited but my company doesn't seem to care. The law says as long as the vehicle is...
Thanks for all the advice. I love to shoot and know how to tear down and clean but that is the extent of my knowledge of firearms. I never have been good at getting myself out of messes like this on my own.
My wifes God-father willed this to me. He always said that I could shoot it. I have had...
Thanks
Thanks guys. I hate to have to replace the barrell. I never plan on firing the weapon. I just want it to be a conversation piece but I also don't want it rusting through over time. I was hoping to keep it as original as possible. I guess I just need to contact one of the many gunsmiths...
