I hope they restrict crossbows next hunting season.

Any safe expansion of the sport of hunting is a good thing for all the sportspeople in the sport -

The urge for a .22 LR revolver....

revolver i think a new or used taurus is in that range..smith or ruger would be your best choice but expect to pay 400-600

Apples to Apples, XD9 vs Glock 19

I think the stock trigger of the xd is better than the glock but i concur on the finish of the XD. The extra safety below the dovetail would have likely prevented some butt shots to some officers but that is debatable. The XD slide is a little taller than the glock....it makes the gun look out...

      Why Gingrich is leading*

I think Gingrich will be the nominee because he is more centered than the other candidates. I dont think he will too bad but we will not make progress with him. I dont think Ron Paul has universal appeal and Romney has too much baggage. Bachman is too polarizing for our country. I think this...

      Walther PPK/S ( NOT S&W)

i would be interested in knowing if the older walthers are better in quality than the newer walthers...i think if you investigated on gunbroker you could find the answer to your question..

The Case for the .45 ACP

if cost was not a factor my ammo of choice would be 357 auto for my glocks....it is hard to find and darn expensive....the 357 will penetrate further and has more velocity especially when shooting through barriers like a vehicle, door, etc....i dont like 40 at all because i dont think it is much...

      If you could own.

I would want a fully automatic and suppressed m4 style assault rifle but I think this would be very costly

      Have snubbies lost their place?

snubbies I am seriously thinking about getting a smith 5 shot airweigh...light, compact, simple, snagless, accurate, and 100% reliable...they still have a place as far as i am concerned.....capacity and reloading are an issue but 5-6 shots should be enough to handle any up close social problems

      Dont laugh yet, .22lr

22lr is barely adequate for self defense in my opinion. Rimfire is not known for being reliable but I would carry a 22 for self defense. I have done so in the past. That being said, I would carry a 22 revolver since this wont jam. You can get 8-9 shots in some of the taurus models...my...
