      They will accept an Indiana carry license as proof of marksmanship? I was under the impression that it had to actually include proof of live fire training. That's great if that's all it take though, as that was one of the things holding me up with getting an M1 through the CMP.

      DNR Public Input on Proposals Hearings

      I'm really disappointed to hear this. I was hoping to be able to hunt with my grandfather's 30-06 that I inherited... I had even purchased an old stock to throw on it so i didn't ding up the original. Here's to hoping the proposal comes back again in the next few years...

      When my wife and I first met, she wouldn't even touch a gun. At this point (5 years later), I've gotten her to shoot everything from a .22 rifle to a 30.06 (reduced recoil loads). She has "her own" Taurus TCP (.380) and a Stevens semi-auto (.22). She has her LTCH but she isn't quite comfortable...

      I called 4 Dunham's stores in my area and none of them have any (double stack) WASRs, nor have they had any for at least a month.. I was thinking about going to the 1500 this weekend to look for one but is it worth it?
