I have to go to Chicago this week for a day trip. I looked over everything I can find and what I understand is I can carry in my car and then leave it in my car locked up. I just want to make sure this is correct. Thanks.
I am going to be getting a new gun in .223 soon. This is my first gun in the caliber so I am kind of new to it and don't want to hurt my new beauty. I have seen some people say you can interchange 223 and 556 and some say you can't. I thought I saw a post about this at one point that the two...
I am flying with my EDC gun soon for the first time. I have read the other threads so I think I get what to do and not to do. My question is how long will the check in process take? Thank you for the help.
My wife is starting to show interest in shooting. She has been looking at snubby revolvers. She is going to take a handgun course as soon as we have time off. We have been to LGS and she has looked at and held them. I was hoping some women on here might give their ideas on what they like...
I might have an opportunity to move to Ohio for work. I have a Indiana LTCH and Utah permit, will I be able to carry on the Utah permit until I get an Ohio permit?
I was in the outdoor section and a couple were looking at binoculars for a trip they are going on. I am looking at other things and I hear the man say "I can't see out of these the lenses are to close together." So I look over and he is looking through the wrong end . I laughed so hard...
So I needed some bolts today and went out to Fastenal on 30 in Columbia City. I was OC and no sooner than I get in the door the store manager walks up to me and tells me I can't carry in the store. I told him that there is no sign out front and he replies I know but only LEO are able to carry...
I searched to see if this was a dupe but couldn't find it. I wish I could move up there Mr. Lepage sounds like a good man.

I went into Healthkick nutrition store today to get some new products at Coldwater and DuPont. I go in often and the workers know me. After he suggests a new product to me he thanks me for carrying (I have always had it on me before this, but I just started OCing more.) We talked for a while...
I have been carrying my px4 in the chest pocket of my carhartt bibs with no holster. I know it's not a good idea but its my option right now. I have been thinking about a drop rig under the bibs but I am wandering if there are other options that might work.
I got my Utah permit today I can finally go home and not have to go through disarming and unloading all mags! :D Now if only I had time to get away from work.
I was practicing today with my snap caps and my wife said when our daughter gets older(she is 6 months now) she might see this practice as playing with a gun. My question is do others with children practice dry fire or with snap caps and do you wait till the kids are out of the room. When she...
I was in baby's r us yesterday (against my will) and got to thinking. If a situation would happen where I would have to shoot, is there any difference on the legal side as if it happened in a store without a no gun sign?
I am thinking about talking to my boss about removing the no weapons allowed signs. Does anyone have experience with this or any advise on how to start the conversation? There are signs up but nothing in the employee manual about weapons.
I was talking to my brother today who is a self defense instructor. He was saying if an attacker is running at you the minimum reaction time to pull your weapon and engage them is around 25 yards. My first thought was that is pretty far I can do that. Second thought is if he is running at you...
I got a set of snap caps when I bought my px4 sub compact for practice. One of them the gummy primer area has broken and fallen apart. Is this a normal thing or should I try to return it? I would guess under 200 shots on that cap so not like I have had it for years.
