The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

I can't get behind all the cheesy stuff those guys do, but it's working and they're living a dream so props to them.

      Motorcycle Riders?

Its a whole new setup. 2014 Street Glide, was a 103ci with intake, header and full exhaust and made 86/98. Its now a S&S 106ci, still stock heads and throttle body but everything else is new and upgraded. S&S crank, cam plate and oil pump, Andrews 57h cams, etc.

      Motorcycle Riders?

Missed a nice weekend to ride. Dropped the bike off Friday evening to get tuned, Saturday morning the guys transformer at his house takes a dump and wipes out the speed sensor on the dyno in the process. Dynojet has a replacement on the way, at least the issue wasn't the bike I suppose. Should...

Still have any of these? I'd take a box if so.

      Essential Holsters

So this add popped up on my social media recently and has my interest. I can see it being pretty cool, and I can see it being a pos. Has anyone actually tried them? I'm curious of some real feedback. Check out the video as well. I tried to link a photo but it exceeded my allowed limit...

      Springfield Armory Hellcat Info

Definitely not just you. I took the wife to our local shop/indoor range to try a handful of 9mm's to find one for her to EDC, the Hellcat slide was by far the stiffest out of the 6 guns we tested, to the point where she didn't even bother trying to shoot it. It was scratched off the list from...

OH NO! THE LIFETIME LTCH IS GOING AWAY!

Update: Left for a short vacation Monday morning, got back this evening and my new hard card arrived while we were gone. Less than a week, not bad at all.

      Motorcycle Riders?

Very nice. Not near the length of trip for me, but I just cleaned her up for a few days in Brown County. A few of us rented an AirBNB right in the middle of Little Nashville, hope to get some good riding in while still keeping the wife happy.

You just looking for a used one? They have a few new here in Terre Haute

      G43 custom build

Well we did just that today. We're pretty lucky in having a pretty kick ass gun shop in town with an indoor range. We checked out the 43, 43X, Hellcat, Shield 2.0, and Shield EZ. We're definitely novices when it comes to guns, so some things that bother people may not be as noticeable to us...

      Motorcycle Riders?

That sounds like a great time. I'm thinking about a major trip next year with some friends, just have to work something out with the wife as she doesn't really care for long trips on the bike. Looking at her flying out to meet us, I'm still working on it ;) We did manage a Cincinnati trip this...

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

Thats killer. Best the Vrod went was 10.52 @ 133 mph, still more than enough to surprise quite a few people and enough to handle just about anything you'll run into on the street. It was a just a stock 1130cc with a Trask kit and made around 165whp.
