By each bedroom and the hallway - about 6 inches from the ceiling as the smoke banks down - I'm a retired firefighter and that is what we always suggest.

How crowded was the last show? We were going to go earlier this year, but once we got there - the line was all the way around the building to get in....
Keep it low key - keep encouraging her. Keep an eye on her - make sure she isn't getting tired. Take her out for a nice meal afterwards. Compliment her on how well she caught on.
I believe it is the parent's responsibility to train their children gun safety. If you have guns in your house - most certainly. Drill the safety into their head. Never ever believe some other kid saying "trust me - it isn't loaded"......
I strongly believe most of our law enforcers are good guys. It is just a few who spoil the names of the everyday hero - working to protect his fellow citizens.
