      Converting some miscellaneous brass into .351 WSL... cross-sectioning one each from some various .223/5.56 donor brass to gauge case thicknesses at various points... good learning experience.

      I can't answer your questions, but I've always "heard" that manufacturers volunteered to quit making open bolt guns just to avoid the wrath of the ATF. You asked some good questions. I'm going to put this on my things to research when I get time.

      Sounds like this will be a really cool show with a unique trade-show style layout and format, unlike the typical shows we're all used to. I've never been to a show with guest speakers and presentations (yes, I'm the one guy who missed out on the NRA convention). I'm stoked!

      We use a primer pocket swedge tool if we have more than 20 or so to do, and a reamer if it's just a few. The reamer removes the metal, the swedge tool just "forms" the pocket (which is the proper process, in my opinion). I also have a primer pocket crimp tool that I made for the swedge press, so...
