Can't run NICS with paper Driver's License?

Utah Firearm Permit would work - govt issued photo ID - as long as the name and address are current. (Fun to use this at the airport when they ask for a government ID...)

      Ordering online

when I ordered online, I just googled "FFL" and my zip code, and received a list of FFLs near me. I then made a few calls and found a guy close I could trust, did business and will use him again.

      Looking for a 45

Good input, and pretty much what I wanted to confirm. Glocks are what I currently carry, and the G30 is physically only slightly larger than the G26 but has the same trigger pull and travel as the 26, so that upgrade would be seamless. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking the best...

      Looking for a 45

I currently carry 9mm, but considering 45 (I'm getting to old to pull the trigger more than once). What do you think is the best 45 for carry, best for at home (if different from carry) and why?

      Bare Arms in Noblesville.

      Gun range coming to Carmel?

2 things about this: 1) The owner of the DQ is worried. He is quoted today in the Carmel Current saying he is "stunned by the news." Also he said, "I can't believe the Mayor would want a business like this and the type of crowd it would attract." "We are a family business and I am concerned...

      Where is your safe?

So I bought a new safe, it's about 66"h x 24" x 24". I thought I would put it in my upstairs bedroom, but I'm reconsidering and thinking about putting it in my attached garage. Upstairs it would be close to me, but it may be difficult to get it up there. Also if I want to show (off) my...

      Ticket at Fishers WalMart!

Well, thanks for all the thoughts. We will see if I just pay this or choose to make an argument highlighting the non-compliance to the IN Code of the lane itself. If I do choose to go to court, I'll be prepared to pay, but make my points & leave it up to the judge. Court date is mid April, so...

      Ticket at Fishers WalMart!

Sorry, Mike. Let's review your assertions: Driver breaks the law. Maybe. This WalMart "fire lane" violates Indiana Code 3 times (color, size, words), and violates Fishers code two times. What happens if a restaurant violates code? Do you fine the diners? Driver gets a ticket. Check This is...
