      Anybody Own a Glock 30

If you don't like how the 30 fits in your hand, I highly recommend the 36. I ended up with the 36 between the two and love it!... Either are great guns, but people definitely have different hands. You can choose :)

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

Got to shoot the G36 today. Mostly shot the FMJ's, but shot some gold dot JHP +p's through it too. Alls I can say is I love the gun and it is very accurate. Fits my hand well and not much recoil at all. Thanks for the suggestions guys!!! :yesway:

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

Already have the Taurus version 92FS in the family. I don't like it one bit. Shoots aweful imo.

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

Wow... Looks like my list to try out is going to be: G17 CZ - 75 variants Bersa 9 P226 / variant Then if I don't like any of those i'll keep looking at these suggestions :ingo:

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

I have pretty decent experiences with Sigs. My dad owns one and I've shot it many times...

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

I didn't realize that the P226 had such a large capacity... I love the P220 compact, but I am not sure how the P226 feels.

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

      I do like the sig's a lot...

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

Well those were the only two I had the chance to look at... I was wondering if there was any others out there for me to check out ?

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

I should have specified... It was the XDM 19+1... Didn't like how it felt. :dunno:

Now, how about a high capacity 9mm?

I recently purchased my carry gun, which ended up being a Glock 36 w/ +1 round extentions. Now I am going to look for a high capacity 9mm for home use. I held the XD, didn't like it. I did get to hold the M&P 9... It fit my hand well and I did like it. Any suggestions to look for? :patriot:

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

Picked up some Gold dot ammo for a decent deal, so I now have gold dot 200gr +p in it now. Still haven't found a gun that has felt so good in my hand yet...

      Glock 30

I'd check out both the G30 and the G36... I have fairly large hands, and nothing beats the G36 w/ +1 round extension for feel for me...

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

Thanks for the info. I'll use the FMJ's to get used to the gun, then get used to shooting the HST's afterwards. I don't like the idea of having a FMJ loaded .45 in the house either.

HD: To surprise or not to surprise...that is the question

Depends on where I am in the house. The 870 isn't chambered after reading this thread. However, my G36 is ready to go.

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

Well I came across a decent deal on a very lightly used Glock 36 with factory adjustable sights... I quickly added 1 round extensions for comfort. Anyone have any recommendation on what protection rounds to use? The guy at the store recommended just using good ball ammo in a .45. He said...

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

Anyone know of a place south of indy that I could look at a g36?

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

Anywhere from 400-1k... I only want one so I am not afraid to spend good money for the right one.

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

So are the p220 compacts not all that great?

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

I'm not against glock. I don't mind their trigger mechanism or anything. I will have to check that one out. I am really trying to find ones to "feel" out when I go shopping.

      Thinking of a Subcompact .45

I've been meaning to get a new subcompact/compact .45 for awhile. I really like the Sigs... Does anyone have any recommendations on what to look at? I have rather large hands, and the p220 compact was the only compact that would fit correctly. The glock 30 was a joke.
